City explores state funding for local share of Highway 75 improvements
The 2012 Minnesota Legislature will include a bonding bill, as Gov. Mark Dayton has already offered a $775 million bill for a variety of construction projects.
AUDIO: Luverne City Administrator John Call says city officials are working with state lawmakers to request that the city's share of upcoming Highway 75 surface improvements are included in the bonding bill.
Surface improvements on Highway 75 from Interstate 90 to the Sanford Luverne campus are expected in 2013.
The city's cost share is the $450,000 ballpark.
