FBI identifies Brewster bank robbery suspect

Officials have identified the suspect in an armed robbery at the Rolling Hills Bank & Trust in Brewster late Tuesday morning.

Forty-nine-year-old Mark Edward Wetsch of Minneapolis was arrested Tuesday afternoon near St. Peter. Law enforcement stopped Wetsch after he was spotted in the vehicle believed to be used during the bank robbery in Brewster.

The FBI is currently evaluating whether Wetsch may be the "Man in Black," a serial bank robber who has committed several bank robberies throughout Minnesota and the Twin Cities area.

No one was injured in the robbery, which was reported at 11:49 a.m.
